OUR MISSION/VISION
Sunrise2Sunset will support the unhoused community with access to a public space designed as a drop-in day center. We know each person’s story is different and lack of permanent housing is a significant stressor. We want to make a difference in decreasing societal stigma and empowering unhoused people to feel they are worthy. At Sunrise2Sunset, we meet people where they are in each moment— with integrity, listening with empathy, and unwavering respect — creating a space where healing and belonging can flourish. Our purpose is to improve health equity and well-being for those without access to showers, laundry services, sanitizing stations, clean food prep area, and access to computer or internet technology.
We desire each facility to be strategically placed to serve areas in Pierce County with the greatest need and the least accessibility to services. Our proposed facility budget is estimated to have a minimum of 5 individual shower units with attached private dressing rooms will provide towels, 5 sets of washers and dryers, 4 restrooms (toilet, sink, mirror, toiletries), kitchenette and social meeting space.

From headquarters to our future satellite sites, each facility will offer showers, laundry services, and toiletries to promote personal hygiene and improved wellbeing.
We have plans to expand programs to include, but not limited to, haircutting, clothing donations and repairs, charging station for electronic devices, and kitchenette area for safe food preparation.

We provide accessible hygiene facilities, laundry stations, and clothing donations—meeting immediate needs with care and respect. Through every act of service, we honor each person’s journey and affirm their inherent worth, fostering a sense of empowerment and belonging.
